Diet and fitness are the building blocks for mastering our bodies, minds and lives through the repeated application of building positive daily accomplishments that sustain health and longevity. Steps to Ultimate Health

  1. Develop clear health goals, define a strategy, and stick to a timeframe with short-term and long-term milestones.

  2. Design fitness goals that are long-term and serve a greater purpose. Such as, improve cardio for heart health, increase energy throughout the day rather than simply to be skinny. Treat your health and fitness goals as life-long goals.

  3. Build positive associations towards health and fitness that promote a sense of accomplishment and empowerment.

  4. Gradually phase out unhealthy habits and food by slowly phasing in healthy food.

  5. Avoid packaged food, even so called “health food” that can withstand time on grocery store shelves.

  6. (If you must eat packaged products) Read all nutritional labels first. Five ingredients or less is ideal.

  7. Eat a balanced ratio of Carbohydrates, Proteins and healthy Fats.

  8. Eat organic food.

  9. Eat every 2.5-3.5 hours. Never starve yourself!

  10. Drink plenty of water.

  11. Cook for yourself and prepare your own food.

  12. Never leave the house without your arsenal of food.

  13. Use caution when consuming supplements or any sports-related bars, drinks, pills and powders.

  14. Daily activity is essential.

  15. Wake up and work out.

  16. Adopt social activities that involve friends and family to lead a healthier lifestyle.

  17. Outsmart food cravings by consuming nutrient-dense food with periodic indulgences in moderation.

  18. There are a lot of ways to work out. Do not get caught up in a single philosophy. Most work outs are trends that are replaced rapidly. Plus, there is a lot of information out there, all contradicting each other, and will likely be re-written. Determine what works best for you by experimenting while having fun.

  19. Skinny does not always translate into healthy. Having a six-pack does not mean you are healthy.
